Grapes from vineyards over 35 years old 12 months in 2nd-year American oak casks. Good frutal intensity and woody tones chosen to sit well with the structure as a whole. Medium-layer cherry-ruby. Smooth entry with gentle tannins, light balsamic notes. Balanced and flavoursome.
• 2 bottles of the rioja monovarietales,either tempranillo, garnacha, or mazuelo. aged for over  10 or 14 months in french and american oak casks.
